Talent Sourcing


The HBCU Foundation’s Talent Source™ Program can identify top-tier HBCU Alumni and Student talent for your internship and professional opportunities, across a wide range of career categories and majors.  We have the ability to develop programs targeting IT, Finance, HR, Biological Sciences, Advertising, Engineering, Sales and Business candidates by Geography, GPA, Major, Years of Experience, Year In School, Career Category, Gender and other metrics.

How It Works

Our sourcing team will identify candidates who have expressed interest in your opportunities and send over a guaranteed number of qualified, vetted candidates each week to your hiring and recruiting managers.  As a part of our Talent Source™ program, your funding may support  the following:

Students

  • Coordinated site visits with designated sponsor (Students)
  • Participants shall be provided a designated mentor from sponsoring organization
  • HBCU Foundation Ambassador on their campus, and/or within sponsor organization
  • Summer Internship
  • Stipend upon successful completion of specified phases of internship and program
  • Full-time employment upon successful completion of program
  • Scholarship
  • Leadership Institute participation (Students)

Professionals Sourcing

  • Source up to 5 Candidate profiles
  • Provide candidate vetting and review resumes of interested candidates
  • Forward guaranteed number of vetted, qualified prospects to your hiring managers each week to review

Professional Sourcing Event

  • Recruitment Mixer targeting 50 – 175 qualified candidates
  • Identify geographical event location and venue
  • Source talent based upon up to 5 Candidate profiles
  • Provide candidate vetting and review resumes of interested candidates
  • Forward guaranteed number of vetted, qualified prospects to your hiring managers each week to review
  • Only green-lighted candidates are asked to RSVP for the recruiting event
  • Our team handles all logistics, menu, registration (online and on-site)
