Creative storyteller. Izzy is a News & Politics 2020 WEBBY® video nominee. She is also a multiple Emmy® and Murrow award winner for her work in broadcast TV news. With a BA in Print Journalism, Izzy also attended Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism where her master’s thesis focused on the fifth anniversary of the Great Recession.
Bandwidth for business. Izzy’s editorial expertise is also matched by her experience working in strategy, along with consumer and digital marketing at blue-chip and blue-check media companies. Her analytics skill-set is underscored with an MBA in Corporate Finance from Fordham University Graduate School of Business.
Izzy’s stellar professional background begins with her day-to-day duties as Senior Producer for The Huffington Post and previous roles as Producer – The Today Show, Producer – Good Morning America Weekend, Strategic Content Producer – MSNBC, Digital Marketing Manager – The New York Times and Marketing Director – Web Media Brands, among a long list of other blue chip positions. In her current role with The HBCU Foundation, Izzy serves in a consulting capacity as our Director of Strategic Marketing. She currently resides in and is a native of Brooklyn, NY.
